The universal oil vapour separator (OIL CATCH TANK) is a high-quality, Polish-made product designed to filter the engine breather system. Its main job is to condense and separate oil vapours which would otherwise enter the intake system and combustion chamber, causing carbon build-up on intake components (including the throttle body and intake manifold). Accumulated deposits can lead to a loss of engine power.

The separator is fitted with a dipstick for checking the level of collected oil, and a drain valve at the bottom of the tank for quick emptying. Unlike cheaper Chinese equivalents, this model has an internal metal mesh that effectively separates oil from air.
